Rose is a director of accounts at Gorilla 76, where she leads a cross-functional team of writers, strategists, designers and performance marketers to build marketing programs that drive real business results for industrial clients. She joined Gorilla in 2021 as a writer and that storytelling instinct still shapes how she works today. She's spent years talking to engineers about fluid dynamics, machine hydraulics and deep-sea mining, finding the through-line that makes their expertise resonate with the people who need to hear it. As a director, she's brought that same instinct to client relationships, building trust by grounding strategy in real business context.
Before joining Gorilla, Rose spent 10-plus years as a freelance writer and reporter, with award-winning work appearing in Missouri Life, The Washington Post, Outside and other publications. She grew up in a working-class, blue-collar family and credits that upbringing with her ability to find the human story behind technical, hands-on work — a perspective she brings to every client relationship.
Rose earned a master's degree in creative writing from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in forest resources from Oregon State University. She's also a licensed commercial and instrument-rated pilot. Outside of work, you can find Rose, well, outside — she's an avid hiker, open water swimmer and adventure photographer.
