Meet the industrial marketing team at Gorilla 76
Joe Sullivan, Thinker & Founder
Joe is a founder of Gorilla 76. He was named as one of St. Louis’ “Top Young Entrepreneurs” by the Small Business Monthly and to the 2012 St. Louis Business Journal’s “30 Under 30” class. Passions include cooking, eating other people’s cooking, the Green Bay Packers, organizing, craft-beering and tag teaming Grace’s and Jack’s diaper changes with his wife, Julie. Joe is a dual-degreed graduate (business and art) of Washington University in St. Louis.
Jon Franko, Thinker & Founder
A founder of Gorilla 76, Jon was named to the 2010 St. Louis Business Journal’s “30 Under 30” class and was named as one of St. Louis’ “Top Young Entrepreneurs” by the Small Business Monthly. He’s a passionate Missouri Tiger and loves to spend his spare time hunting ducks and fishing for fish. Jon has served as a board member for Launch St. Louis (co-founder), the Friends of Clifton Park (co-founder) and Brightside St. Louis. He’s a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
Randall Zaitz, Thinker & Designer
Randall is a graphic designer at Gorilla 76. He graduated from Missouri State University with a BFA in graphic design. While there he gained a love for all things digital and designing for the web. He strives to create designs that are clean, to the point and visually interesting. He spends his free time tinkering with code, making stuff and playing music.
Tommy O’Shaughnessy, Thinker & Strategist
Tommy is a University of Missouri School of Journalism graduate who discovered a passion for inbound marketing over traditional outbound marketing. At Gorilla, Tommy is the link between strategy and client. He’s here to develop marketing campaigns that garner tangible results. When he’s not developing strategy, he’s probably reading a good book, trying to stay in shape with T25 workout videos or gaming with his buddies and a few beers.
Brooke Wiley, Thinker & Account Coordinator
Brooke is an account coordinator at Gorilla 76. She works closely with both clients and team members to ensure campaigns are running smoothly and efficiently. Her love of marketing and client service led her to this role. When she’s not keeping track of campaign deadlines, she enjoys traveling, binge watching Netflix and hanging out with her corgi. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism, emphasizing on strategic communication.
Kathleen Lavallee, Thinker & Strategist
Kathleen is a Missouri State University alum and digital marketing strategist at Gorilla 76. Her passion in digital marketing is finding the nuggets of data that provide kickass insights to ignite strategy. Outside of Gorilla, she can be found catching a Cardinals game at the nearest watering hole, teaching herself the magic of technology (RE: coding), and cooking as if her Instagram depended on it.
Toby Wall, Thinker & Writer
A native of a middle-of-nowhere town in eastern Illinois, Toby is a former reporter who covered breaking news, politics, business and other beats for newspapers in Springfield, IL and in the St. Louis area before joining Gorilla 76. He also has been a landscaper and snowplow driver. He enjoys gardening, reading and writing and is a politics junkie. He has degrees from Illinois State University and from the University of Illinois Springfield.
Daniel Puma, Thinker & Writer
Daniel is a writer at Gorilla 76. Working with the strategists and account coordinators, Daniel creates compelling and effective content for clients. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma – Boomer Sooner! – with a degree in Journalism. Daniel spends his free time exploring St. Louis with his wife, writing about the local restaurant scene, cooking for family and friends and getting way too competitive in friendly board game matches.
Suzanne Morlock, Thinker & Project Manager
Suzanne graduated from University of Missouri with an MA in English in May 2016. As Project Manager at Gorilla 76, her job entails liaising with Account Coordinators and the rest of the Gorilla 76 team to ensure things run smoothly and on-time. In her free time, you can find her—well, you probably can’t find her as her favorite hangout is her own living room, curled up with her cat and/or husband, a good book, and a glass of wine. If she does manage to venture out of the house, it is most certainly to enjoy the fantastic food scene St. Louis offers.
Tyler Hozie, Thinker & Programmer
Sultana Mangal, Thinker & Account Coordinator
Sultana is an account coordinator at Gorilla 76, where she is the main source of communication between clients and the Gorilla 76 team. She works closely with clients to ensure all goals are met. She’s currently working on her MBA at Webster University. In her free time, you can find her spending way too much time working out, checking another book off her reading list or obsessing over the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries.
Gianna Kaloyeros, Thinker & Marketing Admin
Gianna is Thinker & Marketing Admin here at Gorilla. In addition to ensuring top-notch office organization and company morale, she assists the writers and account coordinators with client projects, and helps out on the business development team. Gianna was born and raised in upstate New York and enjoys cooking with fantastic extra virgin olive oil, making soap and heirloom gardening. She has a degree in Journalism from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Maddie Siebum, Thinker & Outreach
Maddie is an outreach intern at Gorilla 76, which means she stays in contact with editors of publications and pitches content that our writers create. She’s currently working on a marketing degree at Saint Louis University. When she’s not at work or in the library studying, she likes to play racquetball, take salsa classes, and attend as many Cardinals and Blues games as she can.
Deuce, Thinker & Sleeper
Deuce is the agency dog. He’s actually Jon’s dog but by default has become the agency dog. He’s arguably the least productive member of the team but probably the most popular. Unless you’re wearing black or don’t like dogs. Deuce is known for his friendly disposition and inability to bark. St. Louis via Granite City (IL) via Meppen (IL).
