Grace is a senior writer and content strategist who loves digging into complex topics and ideas to find the right story to tell. And that’s the fun part of industrial marketing to her — there are just so many interesting stories to uncover and share. From customer research interviews and brand positioning to expert explainer videos and spec-heavy product pages, she’s thriving when she’s asking smart questions and shaping the answers into clear and concise copy. She also enjoys helping her fellow writers do the same as the content team editor in chief.

Before working at Gorilla, she found stories in other unexpected places. This led her to write about healthcare real estate, competitive sheep showing, grocery store foot traffic, endpoint security and many different types of bread, among other things. Together, this all helped her both build a wider understanding of how industrial manufacturing fits into the world and cultivate a certain fearlessness when diving into a topic she has no background on.

When she’s not writing for work, Grace is probably writing for fun. If she’s taking a break from her novel, you might find her wandering local bookshops, spending the evening at a play or arranging fresh flowers in her kitchen. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in strategic communication.
